Who we are...

In 2007, a broad-based coalition of community leaders, led by the Atlanta Committee for Progress, established the Atlanta Education Fund to support efforts to transform Atlanta Public Schools.  The AEF’s primary focus of sustaining the Atlanta Public Schools Transformation agenda is achieved through:

  • Engaging the public to ensure participation and support
  • Accessing objective research and information that enhances and sustains the transformation plan
  • Ensuring that funding is available for key initiatives that drive student achievement
  • Convening and collaborating with education influencers
  • Providing independent monitoring and evaluation

The AEF is a Local Education Fund and a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
